For the final BSB show of 2018, the script goes out of the window as Andy and Dave revert to natter mode and spend more time looking forward than looking back. After the announcements from the Motorcycle Live event, the 2019 BSB grid is almost complete and testing for next year has already started. What are we to make of what will be, the best season ever?

The final round of the 2018 MotoGP came to Valencia in Spain where rain replaced the usual autumn sun to make this last race weekend something special. We saw a number of firsts, but also a last, as we said goodbye to the 600cc Moto2 era. Derek and Jim talk us through the resulting races as the riders battled to master the tricky wet conditions around the tight Circuit Ricardo Tormo

The final fly away race in Malaysia gave us winners for the Moto3 and Moto2 rider's Championships, and perhaps a glimpse at a return to form for a family favourite. Andrew and Len look back over the weekend's racing from the Sepang International Circuit.

Andy and Len kick off a team effort by reviewing the final round of the World Superbike Championship in the sun baked deserts of Qatar. Jonny Rea was striving to eclipse the few remaining unbroken records, while Chaz Davies needed to defend his second place in the Championship against the hard charging Yamaha of Michael Van Der Mark. Next up Jim McDowell and Derek Cabera discuss the Australian MotoGP round and once again Phillip Island did not disappoint providing exciting racing in all three categories.

MotoGP headed to Motegi, and we finally had nice weather for the entire weekend. It was a mixed bag, with one championship being settled and one being blown wide open. Join Jim and Derek as they tell you all about it.

Jonny Rea was on imperious form this weekend at the penutlimate WorldSBK round in Argentina. And Leon Haslam finally claimed the British Superbike Championship during the final round at a rain soaked Brands Hatch

The incredible Jonathan Rea wrapped up his fourth WSBK title in style at Magny Cours and the penultimate round of British Superbikes roared around the Cathedral of Speed that is Assen. Andy & Dave discuss the highlights from the week, including some of the recent news and gossip.

World Superbikes ended their summer holiday and it was quickly back to school with Jonny Rea teaching how to master the Algarve International Circuit in Portugal. Meanwhile as Dave Neal sheltered from the weather quaffing chilled champagne and nibbling on hors d'oeuvres, the hard men of British Superbikes took to the track at Oulton Park as the first round of the Showdown got underway.
