Jim and Rich take time to remember Philip Island, as the MotoGP Circus heads to Adelaide next year. The racing was cancelled on Sunday due to horrible conditions that the air ambulance was grounded and was not allowed to fly. The Sprint race on Saturday was MEGA! This was one of the best Sprints that we have seen as Marquez and Martin battled for the victory. It was pass and repass on repeat until lap eight when Martin ran slightly wide on the curb, which unsettled the bike and caused Martin to take a 150MPH tumble into the gravel at turn eight. Martin suffered a broken wrist in the spill.
Most of the show is Jim and Rich talking about the flood of news that that spilled out of the paddock. The news ranged from secret rider meetings, to surprise grid penalties for not showing up to mandatory press events and everything in between.
At the end of the show the guys discuss some of the more memorable races as a tribute to the great ribbon of tarmac that is Philip Island.

Karl and Danny cover the final rounds of WSBK and BSB. WSBK came at us from Jerez in Spain and BSB from Brands Hatch where the weather played a big part in the results across the weekend.
Nicolò Bulega signed off his incredible WorldSBK season in style at Jerez, completing a clean sweep of all three races. The Aruba.it Ducati rider claimed his 50th WorldSBK victory in Saturday’s opening race before dominating Sunday’s Superpole Race and Race 2. Sam Lowes enjoyed a superb weekend, taking second in Race 1, while Iker Lecuona joined Bulega on the podium. The final race was made even more dramatic by rain arriving towards the finish. Bulega ended the championship with a record-breaking 726 points, ahead of teammate Lecuona and Yari Montella.
Brands Hatch delivered a dramatic conclusion to the British Superbike Championship. Scott Redding kept his title hopes alive with victory in Saturday’s opening race, then won Sunday’s sprint race as well. However, Kyle Ryde’s third-place finish in that second race secured his third consecutive BSB crown, an impressive achievement after switching from Yamaha to Ducati for 2026. Ryan Vickers finished the season on a high, winning the final race in wet conditions, with Ryde second and Joe Talbot claiming his maiden BSB podium. Ryde finished champion on 596 points, with Redding second on 550 and Bradley Ray third on 457.
We also bring you some interviews with
Asher Durham
Asher Durham has enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Pirelli British Sportbike Championship with Powerslide Motorcycles on the Suzuki GSX-8R. After finishing fourth in 2025, he went one better this year, taking five race wins and securing the 2026 British Sportbike title at Brands Hatch. It’s a big milestone for a rider who’s worked his way through the British championship ranks.
Josh Owens
Josh Owens is an experienced racer with British titles in the 125cc and GP2 classes. After competing in the premier BSB Superbike class, he returned to the National Superstock category with JR Performance Honda. Following a third-place championship finish in 2025, he repeated that overall position in 2026, finishing the season with 224 points.
Joe Richardson – JR Performance Racing
Joe Richardson is the team principal and founder of JR Performance Racing, established in 2019. Having spent around 15 years working with teams in the BSB paddock as a mechanic, he took that experience into running his own operation. The team focuses on developing riders and competing in National Superstock, with Josh Owens, Finley Arscott and Harrison Crosby forming its 2026 line-up. The team has already enjoyed championship success, including winning the title with Ben Luxton in 2020.

Karl and Danny bring you a very, very succinct episode this time round. With the championship done and dusted, Bulega as champion had nothing left to prove....or so we thought! Another hat-trick of wins to continue his dominance brought nothing much for your hosts to comment on. It was a weekend of minimal excitement and this is just a whistle stop tour whilst preparations take place for the close of the WSBK and BSB season.

Jim and Rich are back together to discuss all the goings on in MotoGP following Round 17 from the Mandalika International Circuit in Indonesia. First up it’s the news and some detailed discussions on the new weekend format recently announced for 2027. This will see an overhaul to the MotoGP sessions running from Friday to Sunday, with the big change being a dedicated qualifying session to determine the Sprint race grid. There was also the sad news concerning Kristian Daniel Snr who passed away following the recent floods in Barcelona. Heartfelt condolences go out to the Daniel family from all at MotoPod.
Mandalika proved to be as tough as ever with heat and humidity punishing the teams and riders. In Moto3 Max Quilles took a dominant win to lift the championship with 5 races to spare. An awesome achievement. In Moto2, a first turn crash involving Alondo, Holgado, Roberts and Veijer resulted in a red flag and shortened restart distance. Alex Escrig would have lifted the winners trophy but for a technical failure on the penultimate lap. In the end, Izan Guevara took his third successive victory, meaning he now trails Manuel Gonzales by just 5½ points. MotoGP is even closer at the top, with Martin & Marquez separated by just 2 points. The Sprint & Grand Prix were overshadowed by yet more tyre pressure trouble and management for Martin and Acosta in particular. This prompts much discussion!

Jim and Rich return to the microphone and discuss whether the racing form Motegi was actually boring. The racing was processional but there was intrigue involved. It all started on Saturday during the Sprint. Tires started to blister and come apart on some bikes. Discussions were had and Michelin strongly encouraged the use of the hard tire for Sunday. It turns out that the hard tire was actually a good tire as Marc set his fastest lap on lap 18 and Bastianini set the fastest lap of the race on lap 22. The follow the leader race closed the fight for the championship to just 2 points between Marc and Jorge.
In Moto3, soon to be crowned champ, Quiles had a very unlike himself race and finished a close second to Almansa. Uriarte, who could have won or at the very least been on the podium was given a double long lap penalty because his crew was working on the motorcycle after the 3 minute board was displayed.
In Moto2, Guevara led every lap to win a very processional race that only had excitement before it started. On the grid after the warm up lap, Gonzalez had a clutch issue that caused his bike to stall and he had to start from pit lane. With Guevara winning and Gonzalez failing to score a point, the title race has closed to just 10.5 points. Gonzalez needs a bounce back race next time out.

Karl and Danny take you to Round 9 of both WorldSBK at Magny-Cours and the British Superbikes at Assen.
In WorldSBK, Nicolo Bulega dominated the French weekend, taking pole before completing a clean sweep of all three races. Iker Lecuona was his closest challenger, finishing second in each race, while Yari Montella secured two podiums. We cover the intense battles between Bulega and Lecuona, several crashes, the red flags, and Bulega’s growing championship advantage, which now stands at 146 points.
At Assen, the BSB weekend produced three very different races. Scott Redding won the opening two races, with Kyle Ryde taking victory in Race 3 after a dramatic final-lap battle involving Bradley Ray and Redding. Ryde leaves Assen leading the championship on 459 points, with Redding on 391 and Ray on 349.
We also cover the latest BSB news, including Charlie Nesbitt’s departure from TAG Racing, Bradley Ray’s 2027 deal with McAMS Yamaha and the developing technical regulations for next season.
Also, Danny puts his cap on the floor and begs for some charitable folks to dip into their pockets for a great cause. Penny, who is just 7 years old, suffers with a serious condition called Cystic Fibrosis. This has many detrimental effects on Penny's health but with the love and support from her mum and dad Stef and James, Penny is a bright, bubbly young girl, given the best chance in life. The family have done fundraisers before, but nothing like this one! Stef is getting her racing licence and jumping on the back of Michael (Jack) Russell's sidecar for a race. It is safe to say, Stef is terrified of this but will do anything to help out a charity that is so close to her heart. So, with that said, lets get the coffers out and pledge some funds to a great cause! Penny, this one is for you.

Jim and Rich discuss an entertaining MotoGP Round 15 from the Red Bull Ring in Austria. At long last, this was the breakthrough weekend we have all been waiting for with Pedro Acosta scoring his first MotoGP win. It was a tense affair, with Acosta throwing away a certain win in the Saturday Sprint, only to bounce back and find redemption with the Sunday victory; the first of many no doubt! In Moto3, a similar story saw David Almansa crash out of an early lead, handing an unchallenged victory to Max Quilles. Further back, we all got to enjoy a titanic battle, which saw Britain’s Eddie O’Shea score a memorable 4th place. Moto2 was the weekends forgettable race, albeit Izan Guevara took a win to move within 36 points of series leader Manuel Gonzales.
