Karl and Danny take you to Round 9 of both WorldSBK at Magny-Cours and the British Superbikes at Assen.
In WorldSBK, Nicolo Bulega dominated the French weekend, taking pole before completing a clean sweep of all three races. Iker Lecuona was his closest challenger, finishing second in each race, while Yari Montella secured two podiums. We cover the intense battles between Bulega and Lecuona, several crashes, the red flags, and Bulega’s growing championship advantage, which now stands at 146 points.
At Assen, the BSB weekend produced three very different races. Scott Redding won the opening two races, with Kyle Ryde taking victory in Race 3 after a dramatic final-lap battle involving Bradley Ray and Redding. Ryde leaves Assen leading the championship on 459 points, with Redding on 391 and Ray on 349.
We also cover the latest BSB news, including Charlie Nesbitt’s departure from TAG Racing, Bradley Ray’s 2027 deal with McAMS Yamaha and the developing technical regulations for next season.
Also, Danny puts his cap on the floor and begs for some charitable folks to dip into their pockets for a great cause. Penny, who is just 7 years old, suffers with a serious condition called Cystic Fibrosis. This has many detrimental effects on Penny's health but with the love and support from her mum and dad Stef and James, Penny is a bright, bubbly young girl, given the best chance in life. The family have done fundraisers before, but nothing like this one! Stef is getting her racing licence and jumping on the back of Michael (Jack) Russell's sidecar for a race. It is safe to say, Stef is terrified of this but will do anything to help out a charity that is so close to her heart. So, with that said, lets get the coffers out and pledge some funds to a great cause! Penny, this one is for you.
